In seeking blessings and protection from Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala so that all members of the Haj Medical Bi'thah group and intending Haj pilgrims from the Ministry of Health are given safety, health and strength throughout their Haj pilgrimage, the Ministry of Health held a Doa Selamat ceremony. It took place at Dewan Al-'Afiah, Ministry of Health, 15th April morning.

Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. It coincided with the presentation of appointment letters to the Haj Medical Bi'thah group and donations to 35 intending haj pilgrims comprising Ministry of Health officers and staff. Also held was the presentation of the Duyufur Rahman Takaful Scheme Protection Certificate from Insurans Islam General Takaful Sendirian Berhad and special luggage souvenirs from Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad for the Ministry of Health's haj medical officers. This year, 20 haji medical officers joined the delegation comprising 6 medical officers and 14 nursing officers.
